Senior IT Specialist

**Duties**:
As a **Senior IT Specialist (INFOSEC) (Direct Hire)**, you will:

- Maintain or support the inventory of hardware and software within the program development offices.

- Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.

**Qualifications**:
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

**Specialized Experience**:
- Participating in the preparation of System Security and Cybersecurity Plans for financial systems; **AND**:

- Developing information technology policies and procedures for financial systems; **AND**:

- Participating in and supporting cyber cloud security enabling compliance with federal, state, local government, or organizational guidelines, practices, and standards.

Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or** **volunteer service**. **One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
- In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have **IT-related experience** demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.- **Attention to Detail** - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (CONTINUED)**:
Pay will be determined based on the duty location of the position. Remote employees will receive the locality rate associated with the location of their remote worksite.

This position is a remote work position. While work will generally be performed from the employee's approved remote work location, which is often the employee's home, the employee may be required to physically report in person to an agency worksite, training site, community site where work is being performed, or to travel when instructed to do so to meet business needs.
