**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Quality Engineer with expertise in AS 9100D to ensure the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes. The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with AS 9100D and other quality standards, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **AS 9100D Compliance**:Ensure that our manufacturing processes are in compliance with AS 9100D and other relevant quality standards.
- **Quality Assurance**:Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to maintain product quality and consistency.
- **Documentation**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including process manuals, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
- **Root Cause Analysis**:Lead and participate in root cause analysis investigations to identify and address quality issues.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- **Supplier Quality**:Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- **Training**:Provide training and support to staff to ensure awareness and adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- **Audit and Inspection**:Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance and quality performance.
- **Reporting**:Prepare and present quality and compliance reports to management and other stakeholders.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**:Stay up-to-date with AS 9100D and other relevant regulations and standards.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with AS 9100D and other quality management standards.
- Previous experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in quality control methods and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thorough documentation.
- Experience with auditing and inspection processes.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Understanding of aerospace industry quality requirements is a plus.
