**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Formulate and execute trading strategies aimed at optimizing middle distillates trading activities and maximizing profitability.
- Monitor market trends, assess supply and demand dynamics, and identify lucrative trading opportunities within the middle distillates markets.
- Execute trades, negotiate contracts, and cultivate relationships with suppliers, buyers, and trading counterparts.
- Lead and mentor a team of distillates traders, providing guidance and support to achieve trading objectives and enhance team performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and risk management, to ensure efficient trade execution and regulatory compliance.
- Assess and manage risks associated with middle distillates trading, including price, credit, and operational risks.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as refineries, suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to inform trading strategies and decision-making.
- Generate regular reports, presentations, and analyses on middle distillates market trends, trading performance, and business metrics for senior management review.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in middle distillates trading, with a demonstrable track record of success in international markets.
- In-depth understanding of middle distillates market fundamentals, including pricing mechanisms, supply chains, and trading logistics.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and achieve results in a dynamic trading environment.
- Advanced analytical capabilities, enabling the interpretation of market data, identification of trends, and informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in trading platforms, risk management tools, and financial analysis software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to middle distillates trading activities.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment, with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
