Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication SOFCs.-
- Collaborate with external partners on SOFC research and development.- Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in managing research projects.- Oversee daily laboratory operations, including experiments and safety protocols.- Supervise and mentor researchers and students, ensuring adherence to best practices.- Coordinate with vendors and technicians to meet the laboratory’s technical needs.- Prepare interim reports, presentations, and documentation for ongoing research projects.
Job Requirements:
- At least bachelor’s degrees in a relevant field (e.g., solid oxide fuel cells, defect chemistry, high temperature catalysis).- At least 3 years of experience in SOFCs.- Proficiency in the fabrication and characterization of SOFCs, including TEM analysis.- Strong expertise in defect chemistry and solid-state Ionics.- Experience with materials characterization tools such as SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, and FIB.- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken for research work.- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.- Demonstrated experience in project management and laboratory operations.- Proven ability to supervise and mentor researchers and students.
