The Operating Partner within the private equity fund plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, value creation, and sustainable growth across our portfolio companies. This position requires a dynamic individual with a unique blend of technical engineering capabilities, expertise in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) assessment and strategy, and experience in project recovery and turnaround management, across the globe.

**Responsibilities**:
Technical Engineering Capabilities:

- Utilize technical engineering expertise to assess the operational efficiency, productivity, and infrastructure of portfolio companies across various industries;
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement by implementing engineering best practices and innovative solutions;
- Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to develop and execute engineering-driven initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and driving sustainable growth.

ESG Assessment and Strategy:

- Lead ESG assessments and evaluations of portfolio companies to identify environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities;
- Develop comprehensive ESG strategies and action plans tailored to each portfolio company, aligning with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations;
- Implement ESG initiatives focused on environmental stewardship, social responsibility, diversity and inclusion, and corporate governance to enhance long-term value creation and mitigate risks.

Project Recovery Experience:

- Develop and implement turnaround strategies and action plans to revitalize struggling projects, mitigate losses, and maximize recovery of investments;
- Provide hands-on support and leadership to portfolio company management teams during crises, guiding them through strategic decision-making and execution to achieve successful project outcomes.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Collaborate with the fund's investment team to develop strategic plans and value-creation initiatives for portfolio companies, leveraging technical engineering insights and ESG considerations;
- Drive the execution of strategic initiatives, capital projects, and operational improvements to achieve targeted financial and operational objectives;
- Monitor progress against strategic goals, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful execution and value realization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering;
- Extensive global experience specifically in ASEAN, APAC, Europe, and Africa;
- Extensive experience in technical engineering roles, preferably within relevant industries such as manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or technology;
- Demonstrated expertise in ESG assessment, strategy development, and implementation, with a strong understanding of sustainability principles and frameworks;
- Proven track record in project recovery, turnaround management, and crisis intervention, with experience in leading successful recovery efforts for distressed projects;
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
- Strategic mindset, analytical rigor, and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented approach to driving operational excellence and value creation.
