We are currently looking for a Interactive Designer to join our expanding industrial & experience design team As a Interactive Designer at NextOfKin Creatives, you will experiment and develop novel uses of existing and emerging technologies in the domains of Power Of Space, Aging In Place, Health and Wellness and Beauty in home, Lifestyle and Sanitary Spaces. You are our go-to creative for new technologies and have knowledge in one or more of the following fields: AR, MR, VR, bots, physical computing, machine learning and stuff we didn't even think of capitalising yet.

On any given day you might,
- Collaborate closely with industrial and experience designers, to assess the feasibility of creative ideas, within the project's time frame and budget. You will be the technical and creative partner to our innovation teams, helping to drive innovative ideas forward.
- Work closely with the innovation team to create interactive experiences that are useful to users and helps to promote our clients’ businesses.
- Leverage internal and industry-accepted technology best practices to develop some of the best interactive projects in the world.
- Utilise exceptional problem-solving skills to make the impossible possible.
- Build quick prototypes to illustrate ideas to the lead of the creative team and test feasibility with users.
- Research technical documentation, APIs, integration with 3rd party technologies etc. when such knowledge is needed to confirm project requirements, expectations and specific details.
- Be comfortable picking up relevant technology platforms to build relevant technologies and experience (e.g. TouchDesigner, Unity, Unreal Engine etc.).
- Work closely with client engineers to realise designs for DFM.
- Work on both client and inhouse projects.

Bonus functions
- Utilise new technologies to find creative solutions for web, social, and mobile apps.
- Incorporate a good sense of aesthetics in prototypes.
- Team capability building - pioneering and championing creative technology as a new team and seeding skillsets with the existing team. Help evolve a making space for creative technology creation and testing.

**Requirements
The Ideal Person:

- Is exceptionally organised and able to switch between different projects in a fast-paced environment
- Is a natural leader with strong communication skills.
- Has exceptional presentation and written communication skills
- Has studio experience collaborating with creative and technical teams, coding, researching technical documentation
