App Support Sr Analyst

**Role Overview**: **Key Responsibilities**: Provide technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. This includes providing quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed Start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover Perform same day risk reconciliations Develop and maintain technical support documentation Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are in place and functioning correctly Partner with appropriate development and production support areas to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements Engage in post implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality Act as a liaison between users/traders, interfacing internal technology groups and vendor Act as an adviser or coach to new or junior level analysts Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations **Knowledge/Experience**: Experience in a Mainframe Application support role is key Experience with some programming languages and a willingness/ability to learn Ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand Demonstrates analytical skills Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders **Technical Skills**: Strong experience in Mainframe and other technologies as outlined below. Distributed Technology SQL Server - SQL, Stored Procedures Oracle or other RDBMS Database performance and tuning Windows/Linux ITRS Monitoring / AppDynamics Mainframe Technology **Language and Database**: COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, DB2, FSA. **Job Scheduling**: TWS/CA7/Control M **Librarian**: Changeman/Endeavor **Utilities**: STROBE, OMEGAMON, REXX, EasyTrieve, Selcopy, FAVER, SORT, FileAid, AbendAid **Data Transfer**: IBM MQ Series, Connect Direct/NDM **Education**: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience -------------------------------------------- - **Job Family Group**: Technology -------------------------------------------- - **Job Family**: Applications Support ------------------------------------------------- - **Time Type**: Full time ------------------------------------------------- - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
