Singapore INDECO ENGINEERS (PTE) LTD Full time

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Onsite Heavy Tyre Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is critical in supporting our fleet and client operations by delivering timely tyre services on-site—including installations, repairs, inspections, and breakdown recovery for heavy vehicles and equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform on-site tyre installation, patching, tube replacement, and change-out services for trucks, trailers, prime movers, and other heavy-duty vehicles.
- Carry out routine inspections to check for punctures, uneven wear, sidewall damage, and pressure issues.
- Conduct tyre rotation, balancing, and valve servicing.
- Respond to urgent callouts and breakdowns, ensuring mínimal downtime for vehicles.
- Record and update tyre condition, replacements, and job report accurately in service logs.
- Follow strict safety procedures during jacking, lifting, and inflation work.
- Coordinate with mechanics, drivers, and workshop supervisors to prioritise urgent jobs.
- Maintain tools, jacks, compressors, and mobile service vehicles in clean, working condition.
- Assist in stock checks and tyre inventory tracking as required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle tyre maintenance (on-site or workshop).
- Experience with tubeless and tube-type commercial tyres.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Valid Class 3 driving licence required; Class 4/5 is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently at off-site locations.
- Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and punctuality.
- Basic mechanical or hydraulic jack knowledge is a plus.
- Able to start work within short notice.
