Executive (Telesales Team Lead)

**MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSBILITIES**
- Leads and manages a group of Outbound Telesales Representatives (TSRs) with the key focus of driving sales through outbound telemarketing (OBTM).
- Driving sales results for Bancassurance through OBTM while keeping close tabs on the quality of each sales so as to maintain a healthy OBTM portfolio.
- Leads and manages a team of 4 to 6 telesales representatives (TSRs), ensuring the team meets the sales targets set by the management, individually and collectively.
- Works with the Banca head to build a strong and cohesive OBTM team. Be an overseer of the team to ensure the team's discipline and work ethics are upheld.
- Conducts daily briefings so as to keep the team informed on the overall campaign targets and performance.
- Develops sales strategies with the Banca head and QA to guarantee success and growth.
- Works with Banca head to develop sales challenges to drive sales numbers and monitoring results.
- Manage and monitor the OBTM expense budget, amongst others, in relation to the team's overtime expense and sales challenges.
- Provides management and bank partners with regular sales reports, forecasts and analysis of sales data. Liaises with the bank partners on leads management and resolves any other work related issues which arise from time to time.
- Regular monitoring of TSRs' calls for quality assurance via call calibration sessions.
- Conducts orientation and training for new joiners; re-training and regular coaching for existing TSRs so that the team remains competent and productive. Additionally, conduct quarterly 1-on-1 performance reviews with the TSRs.
- Develops annual training (hard and soft skills) programs and materials for the OBTM team. Additionally, to work with the Banca head, to organize external training programs to ensure holistic development for the OBTM team members.
- Monitor each team member's CPD hours and ensuring that each fulfils the CPD hours as required by the regulators and the company.
- Compute the sales commissions for each TSR monthly.
- Assist the Banca head with recruitment of TSRs, whenever necessary.
- Take on any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
**EDUCATION**
- Diploma holder, preferably in the discipline of business or insurance
- Full Certificate in General Insurance; or mínimally possess BCP & PGI and Certificate of Health Insurance
**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED**
- At least 3 year of outbound telemarketing (sales) experience on general &/or life insurance. Have at least 1 year of experience in leading an outbound telemarketing team of 5 or more telesales representatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess good motivational skills to bring out the best in team members and good managerial skills to lead the team successfully.
- Competent in using MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time.
- Must be sales driven with a can-do attitude and pleasant disposition.
- A self-motivated individual who has an eye for details.
- Team working skills but also a willingness to work using your own initiative.
