Piping Draughtsman

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead piping design and detail engineering for grassroots and revamp projects.
- Develop plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping layouts as per project requirements and international standards.
- Oversee 3D modeling and 2D drawing extraction using Intergraph S3D and PDS software.
- Perform isometric extraction, checking, and modification for FEED, IFR, and IFC stages.
- Coordinate with stress engineers for pipe routing and final layout approval.
- Review vendor drawings and participate in squad checks and model reviews.
- Conduct HAZOP, 3D model reviews, constructability walkdowns, and site surveys.
- Supervise and manage a team of piping designers and drafters; allocate tasks based on project priorities.
- Support construction teams by resolving RFIs, technical queries, and punch points during hydro tests and mechanical clearance.
- Review and finalize tie-in locations and connection types; prepare GA drawings and support sketches.
- Ensure compliance with national and international codes and standards (ASME, API, OISD, etc.).
- Participate in meetings with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to align on technical and project requirements.
- Monitor and close model review tags and maintain document control indices.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Over 20 years of experience in piping design, primarily in Oil & Gas, Offshore, and Pharmaceutical sectors.
- Expertise in piping software such as Intergraph S3D and PDS.
- Deep understanding of international design codes and standards.
- Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage small to medium-sized task forces and work under tight deadlines.

**Preferred Certifications (if any)**:

- Certifications in piping design or software tools are a plus.
