Watch the video"**: Manufacturing Engineer takes the product ownership inside Order Fulfillment, and is responsible for handling product performance; redesigning product to improve quality and performance; developing manufacturing and test processes for new product introduction; resolving internal and external quality issues to ensure on time delivery of quality product. Proactively driving continuous improvement in the areas of responsibility to improve process efficiency and reduce manufacturing cost, the manufacturing engineer may develop special solution to meet customer needs. **Responsibilities** - Improves manufacturing of products, processes and components to meet agreed-upon objectives. - Supports and implements the transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production and through the entire life cycle of the product. - Participates in new product development and responsible for the development of product manufacturing process, assembly fixture/tooling and test system. - Partners with production and technical services to improve/sustain products and processes. - Maintain compliance with validation & verification of test methods. - Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues at sub assembly. - Work closely together with cross functional teams within R&D, QA, NPI, System Engineers and Material Engineers to develop production capabilities for NPI and support existing products. - Lean engineering experience & ability to lead factory automation to improve efficiency and productivity. - Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree or equivalent in the field of electrical & electronic engineering. - 2 years of relevant experience in the high technology field and lean manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates with strong engineering and analytical skills are welcome to apply. - Proficiency with ECAD tools for circuit simulation. - Experience in product test methodology, test software and tester development. - Possess strong engineering and analytical skills, as well as hardware and software troubleshooting skill. - Self-starter and consistent track record of results in setting, implementing complex engineering projects and achieving the goals with demonstrated levels of creativity - Additional skillsets such as Python Programming, Matlab, Microsoft 365, Power apps, Autocad, C++ would be beneficial. - Experience in Spectroscopy or chemical analytical instruments will be added advantage. - Agilent Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
