**Roles & Responsibilities**

- At Least 5 Years' experience as a Yakitori Chef with:

- In depth knowledge of Japanese Yakitori Cuisine
- Good understanding of General Japanese Cuisine
- Established experience in managing and operating a Yakitori restaurant
- Highly skilled in Yakitori preparations and grilling
- Capable of designing and creating new and innovative Yakitori dishes and accompaniments.
- Able to advise, select and pair all Japanese alcohol with prepared food.
- Able to maintain high restaurant standards in line with top Yakitori restaurants in Japan
- Capable of independently preparing and cooking restaurant quality Yakitori dishes and accompaniments.
- Able to supervise kitchen, food and drink produce inventory including costing.
- Produce food and drinks menu in English and Japanese
- Able to conduct negotiations with suppliers.
- Able to supervise, train and motivate staffs
- Certified at the highest level under the Food & Beverage Specialists organisation, Japan or its equivalent
- Must have complete knowledge of Food/ Beverage/ Food Preparation/ Professional Customer Service Standards
- Able to provide improvements on restaurant workflow
