**Job Description**:
Knowledge and hands-on experience with necessary BIM software and technology is required. It is critical that the individual who fills this position is a critical thinker and understands how the project will be constructed and perform the role in a collaborative project team environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Represent Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. in the utmost professional manner while constantly embracing honesty, integrity, and truth.
- Comply with Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. anti-graft, non-bribery requirements
- Thoroughly understand the engineered design and inner workings of the facility.
- Coordinate subcontractor BIM models into combined service drawings.
- Develop detailed design schedules for each area and component
- Develop DFMA responsibility matrices around each element and manage subcontractor, consultant, and manufacturer responsibilities to project completion.
- Perform “Design to Value/Cost”, Product cost estimation/optimization
- Collaborate with subcontractors to break services into appropriate lengths and modules to support installation into the facility.
- Evaluate design concepts, seeking opportunities for improvement, anticipating feasibility challenges, and identifying risk areas.
- Facilitate and contribute to brainstorming and technology exploration sessions with a wide range of internal and external experts to find solutions to manufacturing-related technical and commercial challenges and opportunities.
- Complete feasibility assessments, risk reviews, and cost/benefit analysis, using independent judgment, as well as consultation from others.
- Find design solutions that address client preferences, and also meet the design input requirements (usability, functionality, performance, safety, cost, etc.)
- Adhere to Fortis and the client’s corporate standards for VDC/BIM/QA/QC/SAFETY requirements and workflows across Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd.’s practice as well as coordinate with site-based teams
- Works closely with planner that is working on this project on the timeline for the module production.
- Represent Fortis Construction Pte Ltd. in the Singapore DfMA industry
- Adhere to collaborative project workflow process with project partners across all architectural and engineering teams, subcontractors, and within the Fortis teams
- Ensure the subcontractors and vendors follow the specifications and standards in the project implementation plan
- Coordinate with professional staff on reviewing models and gathering any comments relevant to their specific trades
- Participate in the weekly Design and BIM coordination meetings, and other meetings as required
- Oversee third party detailers and collaborators from subcontractors and vendors, manage and report their timely performance
- Technologically inclined with a passion to improve personal skillsets and BIM-related processes
- Contribute to ongoing improvement and best practice efforts to build a world-class DfMA team

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors’ degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, with 4+ years of relevant professional experience
- Passion for DfMA, BIM, IPD, Lean and other industry related areas
- Experience in modular design implementation.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the features, functions, and limitations of Autodesk 3D/BIM Platforms, including experience with complex workflows involving these systems
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design/Build, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and other modern contractual delivery processes
- Fluency with Bluebeam and other markup and design review tools
- Knowledge of a range of materials, manufacturing and assembly processes
