Technology Manager manages a team of developers to implement a project or a product platform.

Internally, you will own the software product to be created or enhanced. You will need to make recommendation on matters such as product features and release timelines. At the same time, you are expected to manage developers and other internal stakeholders to work on new features and resolve bugs.

Externally, you will work with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their as-is processes, and to-be features and functionality. You will communicate and management these stakeholders for the duration of the project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop software platforms and prototypes using full Java stack.
- Lead technical team during the development process.
- Produce technical documentation such as functional and design specifications, etc.
- Coach and mentor technical team members.
- Work with key stakeholders of the product, such as internal users, customers, and external parties.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in software development lifecycle processes.
- Knowledge of software architectural styles and design patterns.
- Working knowledge of Java full stack development.
- Worked on at least one large scale national level project - value of greater than US$1 million.
- Worked with government officials to implement projects, whether in Singapore or overseas.
- 6 years in software development experience
- Completed at least 2 full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- PMI PMP Certified.

Preferred:

- Knowledge of Java, JQuery, ReactJS, Spring framework and Hibernate will be preferred.
- Prior knowledge and exposure to logistic/supply chain software solutions will be a plus.
- Basic knowledge of the Unix environment.
- Able to work closely within the team and at the same time be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and ownership of work.
- Have a meticulous sense for details and a keen interest in quality work.
