Dfma Site Coordinator

**Job Description & Key Responsibilities**:
The DfMA Site Coordinator is responsible for managing the planning, production, and installation of Prefabricated DfMA modules. This role involves coordinating teams, solving problems, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. The coordinator plays a key part in improving processes, maintaining quality, and keeping everyone on track.

**1. Planning and Coordination**
- Plan and oversee the production and installation of DfMA modules, ensuring the project stays on schedule.
- Work closely with engineers, factory staff, site teams, and contractors to solve technical and logístical problems.
- Monitor progress, manage resources, and make sure work flows smoothly.
- Keep project records up to date, including reports, schedules, and inspection logs.
- Find ways to improve processes and remove any delays or issues.

**2. Safety Management**
- Ensure everyone follows safety rules, including wearing proper protective equipment.
- Lead safety briefings and check for potential hazards daily.

**3. Quality Control**
- Check that the production and installation meet the project design and quality standards.
- Inspect the work throughout the process and fix any issues before they become bigger problems.

**4. Problem Solving**
- Resolve technical problems by working with engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Provide on-site guidance to ensure the modules are installed correctly.
- Make adjustments as needed to keep the project moving smoothly.

**5. Communication and Reporting**
- Act as the main contact between contractors, factory staff, and project teams to ensure everyone is aligned.
- Give regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress.
- Track any changes to the project and make sure everyone is informed.

**6. Inspections and Testing**
- Lead inspections to ensure the work meets quality standards.
- Handle final checks before handing over the completed work to the client.

**7. Health and Environmental Practices**
- Perform risk assessments to keep the site safe.
- Promote eco-friendly practices, like recycling materials and reducing waste.
- Train workers on safety procedures and site-specific risks.

**8. Coordination Across Trades**
- Work with other contractors to avoid clashes and keep the work moving efficiently.
- Ensure DfMA installations align with the overall project timeline.

**9. Resource and Budget Management**
- Manage materials to reduce waste and control costs.
- Track expenses to stay within the project budget.

**10. Post-Installation Support**
- Oversee the handover process, providing all required documents and training to the client.
- Address and fix any issues after installation is complete.

**11. Training and Mentoring**
- Teach teams about new DfMA technologies, processes, and safety standards.Guide and support junior team members to help them grow.

**Qualifications**:

- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Architectural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (or related fields).

**Experience**:

- At least 2 years of experience on construction sites, preferably with DfMA projects.

**Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of BIM software is a bonus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to work 5.5 days a week.
