**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for VI process development / optimization to improve process quality, yield and reliability.
- Responsible for sustaining stable assembly VI performance/yield.
- Responsible for monitoring process performance and risk management during project implementation related to quality, productivity, cycle time and cost reduction.
- Responsible for creating new or updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) also called as Work Instruction (WI),Process Instruction and OCAP etc.
- Analyze and resolve assembly process related problems particularly on:
Defect correlation/validation from upstream process like dicing/back grind/laser marking vs VI process and various VI issues resulting to rework and frequent hold lots.- Perform statistical studies to validate process capability and to fan out.
- Establish optimum process and provide support to train operations/technicians team.
- Develop process, material specification for VI, including reject and acceptance criteria.
- Process FMEA, TCM, Control plan related development and characterization reports.
- Required to perform process optimization through DOE and material / equipment assessment and selection for all packages ongoing development and qualification.
- Offline support to give some guidance to production/technicians during non-office hours to resolve quality issue and for yield related matters
- Validate and implement special Customer requirements at VI process.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications or Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably 2 years exposure to back end assembly operations particularly on VI process.
- Experience on VI(TnR) machines like Uenoseiki,ASM,MiE will be an added advantage.
- Experience on reel packing and vacuum sealer will be also an added advantage
- With good leadership, communication & Inter-Personal skill.
- Ability to work under pressure & in a dynamic environment.
- Must have basic knowledge in Design of Experiment (DOE), SPC and other Quality Tools.
- Self -Starter & Team Player and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English communication and writing.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
