**About the Role**

As the **_Startup Committee Lead _**, you will spearhead efforts to connect and align the interests of MNCs, startups, and SMEs within the MedTech sector, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships. You will be responsible for driving initiatives that bridge the gap between emerging innovators and corporate stakeholders, encouraging long-term collaboration and contributing to the evolution of the MedTech ecosystem in APAC. **Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Leadership**:

- Define and execute the strategic vision for the Startup Committee and AIC (APACMed Innovation Committee), ensuring alignment with APACMed’s broader mission and goals.
- Position the AIC as a trusted platform for MNCs to discover innovative partners, and for startups to scale through impactful collaborations.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem, including investors, incubators, accelerators, hospitals, research institutions, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
- Provide quarterly updates to APACMed leadership, presenting progress, insights, and feedback to refine the committee’s work plan and enhance its impact.
- **Community Building, Networking, and Ecosystem Development**:

- Build a vibrant, supportive MedTech startup community in the Asia Pacific through networking events, workshops, and online engagement.
- Facilitate partnerships by bridging startups with corporates, healthcare providers, research labs, and other key stakeholders to drive collaboration and ecosystem growth.
- Serve as a neutral facilitator, aligning diverse needs and communicating the value of AIC programs to enhance engagement and participation.
- **Program Development and Execution**:

- Design, develop, and implement impactful programs and initiatives to support AIC’s mission and objectives.
- Oversee the logistics and execution of all program activities, ensuring timely delivery and meeting program objectives and outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, gather feedback from participants, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with APACMed’s committees to provide strategic guidance and identify opportunities for innovation and partnerships within the dynamic healthcare landscape of the region.
- **Operational Excellence**:

- Efficiently manage resources, including the AIC database, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of programs and initiatives.
- Track, measure, and report on the impact of Startup Committee and AIC activities to key stakeholders.

**Qualifications**
- 10+ years of experience within the MedTech, healthcare, or innovation ecosystem, with a strong understanding of the Asia Pacific market.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing programs and initiatives that support startups or innovations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relations with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in the healthcare sector.
