**Job Title: Research Fellow**

**Role Summary/ Purpose**

Suntar International is looking for a highly-motivated, independent researcher whose purpose is to study novel materials with the goal of commercialization and to support the design, implementation and optimization from laboratory scale to pilot-scale system and end-product, developed using membrane technology. He/ She can expect extensive experience including but not limited to project management, engineering functions, commissioning and research activities.

**Application conditions**
- Location: Singapore, NUS, Tuas
- Have obtained or are about to obtain a doctorate in a relevant doctorate;
- Strong English reading and writing skills;
- Published influential articles as the first author in related research fields;
- Assist the research group leader to guide graduate students and lead the research team;
- Strong sense of responsibility, positive attitude, Able to carry out research projects independently;
- Meticulous and reliable work, Passionate about scientific research.

**Job specific requirements**
- PhD in Chemical Engineering/Materials Science or equivalent;
- Energetic, proactive, results-oriented, self-motivated team member with strong organizational skills;
- Goal-oriented, structured attitude and teamwork are necessary;
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English are required;
- Relevant industry experience will be appreciated;
- Scientific research experience is preferred.

**Job Responsibilities Requirements**

1) Manage and monitor project milestones from project start to finish.

2) Analyze project requirements, KPIs, and innovative engineering techniques to meet project requirements.

3) Provide relevant technical support at all stages of the project (project execution, troubleshooting, suppliers, supplier processes and maintenance, etc.)

4) Assist with on-site installation of systems and equipment, preventive maintenance or calibration after installation.
