Responsibilities:

- Brainstorm and conduct POC on new ideas as part of continuous improvement efforts to introduce more values to the pipeline;
- Build a fully automated pipeline to build, test & deploy without manual intervention;
- Automate platform infrastructure provisioning, maintenance of production and development environments;
- Ensure high availability of DevOps tools and perform all maintenance required;
- Implement and maintain testing tools required to support the automation of testing, including working with java scripting or related programming languages within the context of developing automated test script solutions;
- Responsible for analyzing code quality using DevOps tools to ensure developers are following coding best practices;
- Define change management process to integrate DevOps practice and build workflow in Jira with the appropriate approvals at each tollgate;
- Define DevOps tools operating procedures and guidelines;
- Define development, test, release and support processes for DevOps operations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines;
- 2+ years’ experience working with one or more cloud providers like AWS, Azure is prefered;
- 8+ years overall experience in a DevOps role;
- Good understanding of hardware infrastructure systems (network switches, firewalls, routers etc.) and Linux operating system;
- System administration level knowledge in any of the infrastructure towers (Compute/Database/network etc.);
- Strong experience in configuration management tools (like Ansible, Docker, Puppet, Chef etc.);
- Good working knowledge of source control technologies (GitHub, RTC, Bitbucket);
- Understanding of source code management practices, such as branching, merging and tagging;
- Strong experience in CI/CD automated tools like Jenkins, Team City, Sonatype Nexus, Jfrog Artifactory, UrbanCode Deploy, Aldon;
- Solid experience with Java build-automation tools using Maven, Gradle, Ant etc;
- Experience in scripting or programming languages (Ruby, Perl, Python, Java, Shell, PowerShell, etc.);
- Experience in SQL MySQL/ /SQL Server/Oracle;
- Experience in scanning tools (SonarQube, Fortify);
- Experience in testing tools (Jmeter, Junit, Selenium, Katalon, Cucumber, TestComplete);
- Experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift);
- Good knowledge on monitoring tools - Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana and ELK;
- Proficient experience in JIRA, Confluence and Sharepoint;
- Experience with Scrum/Kanban and Agile methodologies;
- Knowledge in DecSecOps will be an added advantage.
