**An overview of the role**:
The main purpose of this role is to manage end to end accounting tasks, with responsibility for financial recording and reporting, and preparation for audits.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Perform accounts receivable function, by issuing invoices, sales and debit and credit notes
- Ensure that all invoices are paid on time, and that all receipts are given promptly
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Create and maintain financial statements, records and reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
- Handle full set of accounts and month end closing, including preparing GST returns
- Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting
- Analysing financial data, identifying financial performance trends and financial risk, and making recommendations based on this information
- Providing financial models and making financial forecasts
- Prepare and process monthly staff payroll, and CPF submission (and the equivalent on a global basis)
- Assist in preparing for audits by providing financial information and documentation as required
- Working with our Managing Director to drive several key initiatives (depending on your passion and career ambitions)
- Ad hoc projects as required

**Job requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, or relevant field
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- A key team player, hard working and eager to learn
- A strong affinity for critical thinking, hands-on execution, problem-solving and results oriented
- Able to work independently with excellent time management skills and a strong sense of task ownership
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations
- Love working and contributing in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations

**More details**:

- 5 days per week (9am-6pm) - please note that we are open to flexible working arrangements
- Salary: $2,800-3,500 per month (dependant on experience)
