MARVES Consulting is seeking a talented and driven Full Stack Java Developer to join our agile team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that are reshaping the digital landscape for our clients in Singapore and across the region.

If you have a solid foundation in Java and Spring Boot on the backend, and are proficient with modern JavaScript frameworks on the frontend, we want to hear from you

What You will Do:

- Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot
- Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

What We're Looking For (The Must-Haves):

- Proven experience as a Full Stack Java Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security).
- Hands-on experience with a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points If You Have (The Nice-to-Haves):

- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience in the FinTech sector.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
