Associate Director, Multi-asset Investment Research

About Us SeaTown Holdings International (SeaTown), based in Singapore, is an investment manager focused on absolute return/alternative strategies. SeaTown manages both open-end (multi-asset and public credit) and closed-end funds (private credit and private capital/equity). SeaTown is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Analyze and form views on the global industrials sector with a good understanding of industry trends and their impact on companies. Coverage could potentially expand to other global sectors
- Present and engage with CEO/CIO and board members on investment ideas
- Work closely with the portfolio manager to generate high-conviction investment ideas and monitor existing investments
- Conduct investment research, develop detailed financial models and prepare investment write-ups on investee companies
- Engage regularly with company management / IR teams, sell-side analysts, salespersons and traders as part of the diligence process
- Support trade documentation, portfolio tracking, portfolio reviews
**Qualifications**:
- minimum 7 years of buy-side or sell-side experience, preferably covering global industrials; ideally in both equity and credit (single asset class experience will also be considered)
- Diligent, self-driven with strong integrity and a positive work attitude. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong Excel and Bloomberg skills
- Native (or near-native) proficiency in Chinese a plus
