**About our client**:Our client is a leading global multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

**About the role:
You will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of all project activity through the life of our appointment in line with the company's Project Model. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

- Leading on engagement and developing lasting relationships with our Clients and project partners
- Delivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring scope, contracts, budgets and QA procedures are all in place and maintained through the project lifecycle
- Working on the production of technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules that comply with the scope of services
- Preparing and distributing as appropriate Monthly Reports, meeting minutes and (MS Project) programmes, and deliver (MS PowerPoint) presentations as and when required
- Interfacing with the internal Planning team as necessary for the production/updating of programmes on larger projects (typically generated in Primavera P6 format)
- Facilitating risk management workshops for both design and project related elements
- Leading engagement with our programme and project partners potentially including other consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, specialist designers and the like
- Ensuring that fees/costs are prepared on time and correctly submitted to the Client with all necessary supporting information to facilitate prompt payment
- Developing change within the project scope whilst ensuring delivery to Client satisfaction
- Working with bid teams to ensure the preparation of proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders
- Providing mentorship to junior members of staff
- Engagement at the company level to help drive initiatives and positive change.

**About you**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Building/Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 8 - 10 years of experience in a project management role preferably within a multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy in the transport sector
- Knowledge of construction and the design processes
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- An understanding of various types of procurement methods and contract administration requirements including NEC3 and NEC4
- Ideally major project or program experience.
- Self-motivated and able to work well on your own initiative.
- Excellent communicator who is highly organized and able to prioritise.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships across wider teams. Willingness to learn and develop yourself and others.
