**Background**
- The Digital Insurer is the world’s leading knowledge & content platform on digital insurance and has a community of over 40,000 professionals around the world - It was founded by Hugh Terry who is based in Singapore, and Simon Phipps based in Hong Kong
- The business is part specialist media, part community engagement and, part provision of services to insurers and insurance technology companies
- Our Client Delivery team is a key enabler in ensuring the effective delivery of our core client facing offerings to insurers. The team provides all clients with a seamless delivery experience, ensuring effective project management, and providing a single point of contact for our clients and internal stakeholders
- TDI Academy which offers Learning & Development (L&D) Programmes on digital insurance was established in 2019 and is set for increased growth in 2021. We are anticipating increased demand for one of our Programmes in particular from Asia and this will require dedicated client delivery and relationship management
- Our Corporate Membership Offering called ‘TDI PRIME’ is also poised for growth, both in the form of new clients and extending our proposition to existing clients - this too will require dedicated focus on client delivery and relationship management to ensure that we are delivering the best service to our clients at all times
**Role Scope**
- The Client Delivery Director will oversee a portfolio of clients and projects to ensure the successful delivery of projects and to maintain a strong working relationship with client leads
- The scope of the role will include client delivery and relationship management in the following areas:
- Lead client implementations for TDI PRIME for new clients and existing clients (renewals)
- Lead large client implementations of our TDI Academy programme
- Manage and oversee 2x team members (Client delivery managers)
**Key responsibilities**
- Planning and managing the overall implementation schedule for all clients and anticipating and managing resources accordingly
- Defining and agreeing overall project scope and implementation approach with client including elements such as launch approach/timescales, UX, comms, reporting
- Lead and successfully deliver all client implementations whilst delegating responsibilities to client managers accordingly - client alignment and stakeholder management are key
- Assessing and improving programme approaches using data and effective client management
- Implement appropriate internal governance for effective upward and downward reporting / tracking and monitoring of implementations (whilst still remaining agile)
- Set an example in providing an exemplary level of service to clients
- Build and manage strong relationships with client leads ensuring clear communication of project approach, timelines, progress reporting and issue management
- Build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of timelines and deadlines, and provide any other information as required
- Produce and maintain best practice documents and processes, to ensure standardised level of service from team to both internal and external stakeholders
- Continuous process improvement and reinforcement throughout the team
- Coach and guide team members
- Oversee client reporting to ensure appropriate reports are provided to all clients to agreed timelines
- Contributing to pre-sales and Business Development activities as required
- For suitably qualified and interested people you will also have the option to spend up to 30% of your time on knowledge development activities on digital insurance. This can be analysis of InsurTechs, development of whitepapers or helping with ad-hoc presentations to clients
- Clients will be mainly based in Asia but not exclusively so and some clients will implement in other regions or on a global basis. Our implementation programmes are designed and delivered virtually
- Driven by a desire to get things done to a high degree of quality - a real do-er and very client driven - continuously looking at things from the client’s perspective and asking the question “how can we make this better / seamless for the client”
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal (fluent English speaker)
- Excellent client relationship management skills - ability to get clients on board and maintain relationships on an ongoing basis, comfortable with liaising at all levels including Senior Executives; a delicate balance of tact/diplomacy and leadership/assertiveness
- Ability to think creatively when faced with issues with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Understanding of all aspects of client delivery from technical (not deep tech), operational, communications and reporting
