**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Providing technical support to channel partners and customers, such as troubleshooting sample preparation issues as well as hardware and software operations.
- Collaborating with the R&D group as well as Key Opinion Leader’s to develop workflows that meet specific project requirements.
- Providing technical support to customers, such as troubleshooting sample preparation issues leading to chromatography issues.
- Collaborating with R&D to develop workflows that meet specific project requirements or new business initiatives.
- Training and mentoring sales and service engineers, channel partners, scientists and technicians in sample preparation and chromatography techniques.
- Ensuring that workflows developed are well documented and in compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines as applicable.
- Keeping abreast of new developments in sample preparation and chromatography techniques and making recommendations for process improvements.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as FDA and EU guidelines is desirable.
- Installing, configuring, and commissioning new equipment.
- Providing training to customers on the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Developing and optimising sample preparation workflows for different types of samples, such as biological fluids/materials or environmental samples.
- Designing and conducting experiments in cooperation with channel partners and their customer to evaluate the performance of sample preparation workflows on the products.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Strong background in analytical chemistry with hands-on experience using chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques including UPLC, HPLC, GC, SFC and MS as well as solid phase extraction sample preparation methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with customers, are essential.
- Experience in method development and validation in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is desirable.
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of robotics equipment and its accessories, able to provide onsite and remote troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of sample prep robotics equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines is essential.
- Ability to keep up to date with the latest developments in chromatography and mass spectrometry technology and make recommendations for process improvements.
- PhD or Master's degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field is preferred.
