**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an Assistant Events Technology Manager to join one of our dedicated IT client teams. You will be supporting the Event Operations Team in planning successful meetings, incentives, and event programs by serving as consultants to internal clients regarding development of the registration websites for these events. This role would also develop most of the websites they consult on.

**_Core Responsibilities _**
- Work directly with internal and external clients to determine requirements, process flow, system capabilities, design and provide overall consultation
- Consult internal clients and assess the program's reporting needs, ensure the reporting plan achieves client objectives
- Design and build websites and registration forms that provide an exceptional user experience and provide efficient backend management and reporting and/or electronic evaluations for each assigned event
- Support in creating other ad-hoc creative assets, including but not limited to e-book, banner, logo and offline materials
- Participate in Program Debriefs to provide feedback on website and its development
- Create and manage website timeline to ensure information is collected and action steps are taken to meet deadlines
- Keep abreast of new technologies that can enhance the process, design or manageability of development and maintenance
- Develop and maintain relationships with all meeting contacts to ensure repeat and new business
- Work with operations team to troubleshoot issues and answer any questions clients/internal team may have while managing the day to day of the program
- Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, as requested
- Provide on-site program assistance; oversee all arranged details of program
- Develop and maintain relationships with Meeting Hosts to ensure repeat and new business.
- Facilitate the fulfilment of program related participant and host communication materials, including, but not limited to save-the-dates, registration announcements, room gifts, pre-trip and onsite materials, including program signage and participants name badges
- Assist with Event Logistics Manager on sourcing of gifts, restaurants, other event requirements

**Education / Knowledge / Experience**:
Essential:

- Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
- 1 - 3 years web development, registration management or comparable experience required (i.e. event registration, administrative, etc.)
- Hands on experience with HTML.
- Hands on experience building websites utilizing various web and design software (Dreamweaver and Photoshop)
- Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies, design methodologies and web development languages and standard
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong design, writing and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios
- Capability of thinking innovatively, strategically, and conceptually
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Is both able to work independently and as team player

Preferred:

- Working knowledge of CVENT Registration Platform
- Previous client-facing role
