**Photonic IC Design - Senior/Principal Engineer**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead photonic integrated circuit (PIC) design and layout for internal initiatives and collaborative projects.
- Develop innovative active and passive silicon photonic devices in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Conduct simulations at both the component and circuit level.
- Participate in cleanroom microfabrication and perform optical testing of photonic devices as required.
- Provide technical support for CPO-related strategic programs.

**Requirements**:

- MSc or PhD in Physics, Electrical/Optical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on silicon photonics or optics.
- At least 3 years of industry or research experience in integrated photonics design, with a proven track record in simulating passive components and circuits. Experience with active devices (e.g., modulators) is a plus.
- Proficiency in wafer-level fabrication and cleanroom processes.
- Familiarity with optical probe station handling for testing both passive and active photonic devices.
- Working knowledge of simulation and layout tools such as Lumerical, Zemax, and KLayout.
