**Description and Requirements**:

- Monitor data center systems (servers, networks, environmental controls) to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Perform physical and remote hardware installations, configurations, and decommissions.
- Respond to system alerts, troubleshoot issues, and escalate incidents as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of system activity, incidents, and maintenance logs.
- Execute backup procedures and ensure data integrity.
- Assist in managing access controls and ensuring physical security policies are followed.
- Perform routine inspections of power, cooling, cabling, and other infrastructure systems.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of server rooms and structured cabling.
- Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in data center or IT operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of server hardware, network equipment, and data center best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds) is a plus.
- Comfortable working with ticketing systems and documenting issues clearly.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude.
- On-site role within a secure data center environment.
- May require shift work and on-call availability.
- Adherence to strict security and operational protocols.
