Astek is proposing an opportunity for **Data Engineer (Snowflake/Python) **to support our project based in **Singapore**.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
- Provide BAU support for production job monitoring, issue resolution, bug fixes.
- Collaborate with data architects, modelers, and IT team members on project goals.
- Responsible for requirement gathering, design and development, **SIT testing, support UAT and CICD deployment** for enhancement and new ingestion pipeline.
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems, ensuring systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
- Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
- **At least 3 years** of hands on working experience in **building data ingestion pipelines using Python on Snowflake**.
- Proficient in Software Development Life Cycle **(SDLC)** methodology.
- Strong experience in Continuously integrates and deploys data solutions via **CI/CD.**:

- Experience in **data warehousing** concepts.
- Able to design and implement solution and perform code review.
- Excellent **Communication Skills**, Verbal and Written, for both internal and external team members.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
