**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Fitter Responsibilities**:

- Check the drawing before fit-up regarding specification/dimension.
- Using a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications.
- Lay-out, cutting, grinding, fit-up almost all classes & sizes of pipes.
- Measuring and marking pipes for cutting and threading.
- Fabrication of pipe supports & platforms.
- Knowledge in Erections in structural jobs.
- Knowledge to read and interpret the drawing both piping and structural.
- Complying with relevant codes and regulatory standards.
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
- Perform Good Housekeeping.
**Fitter Requirements**:

- High school diploma/GED.
- Trade school education or apprenticeship.
- Proven experience as a Fitter.
- Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to prioritize and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with dangerous equipment or chemicals.
