**RESPONSIBILITIES**

This role reports to Director, Strategic Communications & Engagement and will be sharing collective responsibility specifically in the area of fundraising and donation to deliver the organization's strategies and Mission to realise its espoused Vision.

This role assists Director, Strategic Communications & Engagement in providing oversight, strategise and directs the development and implementation of fundraising and donation strategies to ensure MINDS financial sustainability in the face of growth,, raise funds for sustenance of MINDS services in a sustained manner, grow public mindshare of MINDS' value to Singapore, raise the profile of MINDS to gain more partners and seed collaboration with more stakeholder groups to provide greater support for Persons with Intellectual Disability (PWIDS) and their families, so as to facilitate their integration into society.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strategise, lead, build pipelines and drive engagements with donor stakeholders across the following key segments; corporates, funding agencies, Foundations and high net-worth individuals.
- Develop, implement, and review Donation framework and policies for whole of MINDS.
- Strategise, lead and drive philanthropic giving efforts to MINDS.
- Innovate and explore new ways and platforms/channels of reaching out to prospective donors to grow and sustain philanthropic giving for MINDS. Ensure good governance on donation administration process and maintenance of donor database.
- Propose yearly donation targets for Senior Management approvement
- Develop, implement, and review fundraising framework and policies for whole of MINDS.
- Strategise, lead and drive fundraising efforts (1 large scale (200k) and 1 smaller scale (80k) for MINDS to establish a sustainable income source for MINDS.
- Lead and drive all fundraising efforts by third parties for MINDS.
- Ensure good governance for all fundraising efforts and build fundraising profile and database, to support future fundraising initiatives, in compliance with relevant government legislations such as and not limited to: Charities Act, Charity Commission Guidelines, House to House and Street Collection Act, etc.
- Work with Finance to assess the financial health and growth of MINDS from the perspective of financial sustainability.
- Work with Finance to determine areas that MINDS could develop on to ensure greater financial sustainability.
- Work with finance to develop strategies that will be coherent with the overall funding strategies for MINDS.
- Co-Lead and drive discussion on financial sustainability for MINDS with Finance.
- Assist to strategise, craft and coordinate details required for grant submissions so as to ensure its approval from funding bodies, together with Plans.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor Degree

**OTHER INFORMATION**
- 8 to 10 years of management experience
- Relevant experience in the areas of communications, fundraising and stakeholder/volunteer engagement
