**Principle Roles**:
Maintains direct daily contact with subcontractor’s representatives, manage supervisor and other field staff. Responsible for the protection against safety, quality risk during the construction and coordination to work without intermission

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitors construction activities to assure compliance with design drawing, specifications, and codes/standards
- Monitor field variations and keep the project team informed of these changes
- Reviews manpower requirements relative to meeting current job progress schedules, follow-up for timely delivery of materials to meet established schedules
- Assist in the training and development of subordinates
- Monitors the work to assure good quality control, and to make certain that work conforms to all plans and specifications
- Ensures subcontractor compliance with safety standard and all applicable safety codes and regulations
- Assist in the review of the monthly estimate work completed, payrolls, and material invoices
- Supports and coordinates with other teams regarding construction issues
- Collect correct as-built information during construction
- Patrolling the site and provide the plot plan and other documents
- Plan safe works based on actual site condition and revision if required
- Plan and prepare proper site access for material/equipment logistic
- Reflect safety points into method statement, SWP, FPP
- Review safety matter with sub-con to given them correct instruction
- Plan and share safe work sequence to all workforce including sub-con
- Site control to work as per approved plan and if it required to change the plan
- Coordinate relevant parties to control site risk and supervise all manpower to work safely
- Midnight work is required when emergency
- Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
- Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
- Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safe
- Supervise ongoing site activities closely

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with 2 years’ experience in Tunnelling construction
- Incumbent with working experience with mega projects preferred
- 6 days’ work week
