Position: Senior Accounts Executive (18mths Contract)

Reports to: Finance Manager

Working Location: South, Harborfront

**Job Summary**:
The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the financial accounting and reporting function of the manufacturing plant. The role requires an individual who possesses strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team of junior accountants.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data to comply with accounting standards and company policies
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and monitor performance against targets
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting transactions
- Provide guidance and support to junior accountants, and assist in their professional development Participate in special projects as required by the Finance Manager

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
