DESIGNATION : Scheduler, Broadcast Operations (6-month contract)
RESPONSIBILITIES
**Description**
The Executive provides operational support for the Radio's traffic news thru insertion by managing the Zetta playlist. This role involves closely monitoring a WhatsApp group chat to ensure traffic updates triggers are implemented and executed across radio stations as per instructions in the required time manner.
The role requires continuous monitoring of the designated WhatsApp group chat and to remain vigilant with any activation and follow up promptly. Attention to detail is essential to ensure the correct files (audio clips) are selected and played accurately according to the activation message received in the group chat. The ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with stakeholders is essential.
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor the ICA WhatsApp group chat for any activation and message version updates
- Ensure meticulous execution of the correct message version
- Insert the designated message version every 30 minutes for the specified duration
- Manage station-specific content versions without cross-sharing between stations
- Provide clear and relevant information to the next shift staff and the Team Leader during handovers
- Comply with workplace safety and cybersecurity policies while performing duties
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma holder
- Ability to understand and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) effectively
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Chinese, Malay, or Tamil is an added advantage
