Intern will assist in the UMC12i expansion project related scope for Operations, an excellent placing for Intern to learn about commissioning of air separation unit for Nitrogen and Oxygen generation processes, and how Air Liquide delivers solutions for production of high purity products to meet the requirements of Electronics customers in the Semiconductor industry. His/Her daily activities would involve working with the Project team, Equipment Commissioning team, Industrial Management Team, while mainly supporting Operations team that includes Process Engineers and Technicians for the delivery of smooth commissioning, start-up and supply to UMC Fabs.

**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:

- He/She would be expected to:

- Work with Project Engineers for new equipment installation.
- Ensure equipment installed comply with Air Liquide's approved technical designs and HAZOP reviews.
- Conduct test-runs for equipment such as distillation columns, compressors, turbine, hot bath vaporizer, flat bottom tank and many other new equipment to ensure smooth start-up.
- Establish Operational Excellence systems that comply with Air Liquide's industrial management system and regulations.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Tests for the operational excellence systems into digital workflows and platforms for new Nitrogen/Oxygen plant and Gas Systems. Assist the Equipment Commissioning Engineers and Process Engineers to commission and start-up the new Nitrogen/Oxygen plant and Gas Systems.
- Ensure all systems turn-on and supply with no interruption to UMC12i new Fab and old Fab.
- Perform continuous improvement and sustainability projects on both existing Nitrogen plant and Gas Systems, as well as new Nitrogen/Oxygen plant and Gas Systems.
