We are looking for a **Lead** **Frontend Developer **to build lovable interfaces and amazing touchpoints for our trust-related software products. The role is part of the Trust Technologies Engineering division, which focuses on emerging technologies that engenders trust and espouse the values of fairness, safety, and privacy in digital technologies.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the structure, design, and development of the web frontend for our products, helping it work seamlessly with the backend capabilities to meet the product objectives.
- Write high-quality, readable, and maintainable code for the web frontend, leveraging on popular runtimes such as Node.JS and frameworks such as Angular.
- Articulate the trade-offs between aesthetics and functions, working closely with the product team to define features and design. You will also work with the backend and middleware engineers to ensure that the frontend comprehensively covers all user journeys.
- Optimise the frontend for speed, scalability, and re-use, including tracking page performance metrics and web vitals to eliminate performance bottlenecks.
- Track and resolve frontend deficiencies and bugs, managing incident tickets and prioritising fixes in a structured manner.

**Requirements**:

- You have 5+ years’ experience in web frontend development, with a strong appreciation of best practices and trends in this space.
- You are an expert in web frontend languages and frameworks, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, and Node. You can also code proficiently in Python.
- You can create realistic mockups and wireframes using UI tools (e.g., Figma, XD) and can confidently articulate how a UI should work to both business and engineering stakeholders
- You are comfortable in both design and coding. This role requires you to cover the full gamut of frontend work from conceptualisation, wireframing, to developing and testing.
- You can strike a balance between form and function - you can tweak pixels for hours but can also recognise that an imperfect UI is always better than a non-functioning UI.

Position will commensurate with experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $6,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- 13th month salary
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
