**Position**: Accounts Assistant Payable (A)

**Salary**: $2,500 - $3,000 + OT

**Location**: North

**Working Hours / Days**: 8.30AM - 6.00PM (Mon - Fri)

**Responsibilities**:
Process accounts and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Performs day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payables’ data.
Verify each vendor creation form against necessary documents and to assign New Vendor accounts code in the system according to group policy.
Ensure accounts payable (AP) invoices, petty cash and E-staff expenses claims (Prosoft) are accurate and properly coded.
Ensure GST recognition is in compliance with IRAS e-Tax Guide.
Check and ensure payments are verified against relevant documents and authorized according to group policies and processes.
Carry out monthly vendors’ reconciliation.
Ensure zero unallocated payments in the system at each month end.
Ensure the completeness of monthly balance sheet schedules including reconciliation of payments and analysis of movements and balances.
Manage and resolve internal and external vendors’ enquiries and issues.
Assist in annual audit which include preparing confirmation letters, participation in stock takes, conducting the necessary reconciliations.
Ensure proper record keeping of all accounting documents.
Review, propose and conduct improvements to the internal process to achieve efficiency.
Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
Minimum ITE/LCCI/ CAT/Diploma in Accountancy.
Meticulous, able to work independently as well as in a team.
At least 2 years of AP handling experience.
Good time management and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Accounting software and MS Office.
Able to perform detailed work with accuracy and speed.
