**The Company**
Our client is a German industrial manufacturer with a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region. It develops innovative solutions for sectors such as automotive, electronics, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods.
**The Role**
The job incumbent will provide corporate and business controlling support to the SEA markets (6 countries), ensuring accurate, high-quality analysis and reporting. Acting as a strategic partner to the General Manager, SEA - this role will drive performance, support decision-making, and champion process improvements. This position reports directly to the Director, Regional Controlling based in Singapore, with one direct report (Finance Analyst based in Thailand).
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide corporate and management reporting for SEA markets.
- Business controlling for assigned functions, business units, or entities.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including strategy and mid-term planning.
- Drive efficiency, process harmonization, and value-adding initiatives.Support and/or lead ad-hoc projects (PMO, project lead, or team member as required).
**Your Profile**
- A well-recognized degree in accountancy/finance/buinsess with professional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant, or equivalent.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience and proven track record in progressive MNC. Regional HQ exposure in Asia Pacific/SEA strongly preferred.
- Experience in project management (i.e. system roll-out or strategic initiatives) is highly preferred.
- ERP experience, ideally SAP S4 HANA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Business acumen with the ability to cut through complexity and focus on key issues.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and meticulous.
- Resourceful, independent, and able to work within a matrix structure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; reliable and driven.
- A team player and robust business partner, committed to shared goals.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines.
- Willingness to travel (mainly SEA countries).
