QA Manager

Incube8 is a growing technology company with offices in Singapore (Software Engineers, QAs, DevOps) and United States (Marketing, Product, Infra, Data & Analytics, Customer Support, Finance). We design, develop and operate our own software products in the dating and e-commerce space. We are seeking an action-oriented, goal-oriented, go-getter QA Manager to lead our QA team in Singapore.

**Job Description**:

- Responsible for raising the overall test quality and test maturity of the organization.
- Drive and manage software product testing.

You will be required to help lay down a strong foundation of quality assurance by
- Defining, refining and standardising QA framework (testing processes and tools) that facilitate continuous testing for all software products/projects.
- Developing and owning the QA strategy for both manual testing and test automation.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to existing QA methodologies (both functional and non-functional) and strategies to increase test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review and improve existing testing processes so that testing is optimised across manual and automation testers.
- Define, refine and revise QA metrics and KPIs for the management of QA goals and Management Reporting.
- Analyze defect trends and fine tune QA processes to identify them early in the development cycle, thus minimizing the scale of impact of the defect and the corresponding fixing cost.
- Lead the discussions and determine the appropriate quality initiatives to implement during Sprints with Engineering, Product and other stakeholders.
- Lead hands-on effort to
- Scale-up test coverage using automation.
- Modularise test scripts for reusability and maintainability.
- Tune automation scripts for performance.
- Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution.
- Manage the QA team (6 members) daily activities, conducting 1-1s, establishing training plans, performance reviews, etc.

Experience Required:

- Minimum 6 years of working experience in QA Engineering with at least 2 years of experience as a QA Manager, leading a team of 4 - 8 QA Manual Testers and QA Automation Engineers and at least 4 years of experience in QA Automation and manual testing.
- Thorough knowledge of Agile QA methodologies, standards and best practices.
- Experienced leveraging Agile QA Testing in an Agile Scrum environment is required.
- Experience with Java (Selenium Automation and Cucumber) is required.
- Strong experience in testing tools such as Selenium (WebDriver), Cypress, JMeter etc.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins and the integration of Automated Testing tools to them.
- Experience with a variety of testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, API Testing, Performance Testing, Smoke Testing, Load/Stress Testing, Cross Browser Testing etc.
- Experience with no-code testing platforms (Autify, Katalon Studio) is an advantage.
- Experience with GIT, JIRA, and Confluence is an advantage.
- Advanced ISTQB certification is an advantage.
- Proactive in taking ownership and driving initiatives to completion.

**Salary**: $9,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
