We are looking for a **Product Designer** to join the Citi Global Wealth Emerging Tech & Innovation design team to create innovative products and experiences for affluent clients across the wealth spectrum. This person will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic start-up like environment to elevate the client experience through their craft and pave the way for innovation in not only what we design but also in how we design. **Why is this role important for Citi’s work?** **The Emerging Tech & Innovation Group **serves as change catalyst for the Global Wealth Management division to drive innovation strategy, implement emerging technology, partner with best-in-class solutions. Our shared mission is to reinvent wealth management, by providing our clients with the tools, authority, and inspiration to achieve greater relevance today, and continued significance in the future. **Once you are here you will**: - Inspire and direct the team to help them build toward a meaningful vision efficiently - Partner with the Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Content Strategists to define problems and goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new products and services - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the goals and requirements necessary to meet business objectives - Work hand in hand with the Service Design Lead to translate and bring the insights from customer research to life - Define and evangelize design language system throughout the organization - Provide leadership and mentorship for a team of Experience Designers through the interaction and visual design of products and services from end-to-end for a global audience **When you start with us we would like you to come with**: - 6+ years of experience in a UX design role, while working on large-scale, commercial-grade software (or projects involving complex data and user workflows) - Capable of concepting / ideation quickly to shape and communicate ideas as well as leading teams in sprint-based design and development cycles toward releases - Experienced with user-centered design techniques, design systems, visual design principles, and interaction design concepts - Experience with a wide range of wireframing, visual design, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Axure, et al.) - Working-knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CRM, and frameworks such as React - Experience working on an AI/ ML project - Ability to maintain best practices for accessible design in our products - History of championing design culture to departments outside of design - Experience in the financial services industry / wealth management is a plus - **Job Family Group**: Institutional Sales - **Job Family**: Institutional Sales Support - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
