**Your role**:
- Carry out organisation's cash management strategies, objectives & plans to optimisation of cashflow and manages risks relating to treasury functions (i.e. payments, FX etc)
- Manages treasury activities including transactions processing, bank account management, bank documentation, including loans, hire purchase agreements, FX and settlement
- Perform cash positioning on weekly basis for cash visibility and cash flow forecasting for liquidity management and funding requirements
- Responsible for generating financial management reports, month-end financial reporting and statistics on the financial health of organisation and for external stakeholders including for MAS or statutory bodies
- Analyse monthly variances and perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Ensures operational activities follow the Company’s treasury management policies and regulatory requirements and they are monitored effectively
- Establish, review & maintain comprehensive and up to date processes & procedures, with auditable data and records of treasury business
- Escalates any operational risk concerns to the CFO & Managing Director
- Liaison with counterparts and stakeholders to ensure security and timely receipt of funds and payments
- Manage the settlement of any financial instruments including time deposits, foreign exchange, letter of credits and bank guarantees
- Review and manage organisation's bank accounts and trade line
- Participate in process improvement projects (for e.g., automation) and system implementation and maintenance
- Collaborate closely with all relevant functions in the compliance reporting to regulatory bodies
- Support other treasury activities and ad-hoc projects as treasury function expands or when called upon
**Role Requirements**:
- A minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Banking/Finance with minimum 5 years of Treasury settlement experience
- Having prior experience in the auto industry and some debt/equity fund raising would be advantageous
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, both internal parties like operations, and external parties like auditors and various government authorities
- Good knowledge of accounting standards (i.e. IFRS 16, IFRS9 etc), GST, VAT, applicable taxes and accounting and financial statements
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Highly organised person who can utilize independent judgment in establishing the accuracy and reasonableness of financial information
- Good team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Shows initiative, proactiveness and takes ownership of own work
- Good command of Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

**Experience**:
- knowledge of accounting standards (i.e. IFRS 16, IFRS9 etc): 3 years (preferred)
- Treasury settlement: 5 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
