**Role Responsibilities**:
- Senior member of the HR Leadership team, reporting to the the Group Head of HR
- Line management for all people in the HR function in Asia (currently c.11 hc)
- Evaluating the HR org for the region and filling it by growing existing people and hiring externally where needed.
- Financial budgeting for headcount and other costs
- Scope:
- Leading HR Operations (inc. payroll, work permits, employee lifecycle, HR Helpdesk)
- HR Business Partnering
- Working with COEs (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits and Learning & Development) in a matrixed model
- Responsible for developing and updating regional / local policies that conform to Group standards and local employment legislation.
- Facilities management
- Key metrics:
- Employee net promoter score (engagement indicator)
- Attrition rate
- New hire failure rate
- Headcount & staff cost
- Onboarding satisfaction score
- HR Service Desk SLAs
- Own the planning, management and delivery of people related projects to instigate and deliver business change at both a regional and global level
- Support people leaders to deliver against their engagement plans and drive increased employee engagement rates
- In partnership with Talent Acquisition, support the recruitment activities in the region through participating in interviews and overseeing the onboarding process
- Stay abreast of relevant HR-related legislation, ensuring that HR policies and practices remain compliant
- Partner with compensation & benefits to ensure that our compensation and benefit offerings are competitive in the local market
- Act as the escalation point for employee relations issues, ensuring cases are dealt with in a timely manner and in line with company policy and relevant employment law.
- Ensure we provide great workspaces for our employees
