GEMS manages a large and highly diversified energy portfolio, including electricity, natural gas, biomass, LNG and other fuels, CO2 and environmental products, and provides a range of trading risk management solutions to all types of market participants, in Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, South America and the US. **YOUR contribution**: **Context** **Role**: **Job title**: **Developer** **Seniority: Intermediate** **Department: EC (Expertise Center) IS** **Reporting line: Head of IS LNG and Biomass** **Role** If you have a background in commodity ETRM related system development & support or at least any Front to Back office knowledge and are interested to be part of a global team, this might be a great career opportunity for you. **Key missions** - Empower business users to carry out their day-to-day operations effectively (e.g. on deal bookings, shipment scheduling, PnL calculation & reporting, back-office controls and quality checks, invoicing & interfacing with accounting systems) - Challenging the current Allegro customizations with C# customizations - Understand new business needs and develop new functionalities based on complex business requirements - Coordinate UAT & production deployment of new system functionalities - Create custom reports & dashboards using Power BI & Excel technologies - Write and update technical documentations in English and make them available to the team - Provide training to business users & other team members **About YOU**: **Hard skills** - Solid knowledge of SQL to be able to write complex queries (SQL Server) - Solid knowledge of C# programming language is indispensable - Experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools), Veson IMOS, SAP B1 is a plus - Solid knowledge of front, middle and back office processes and functional design on commodity trading - including deal representation (both physical & financial), MTM pricing, logistics, settlement, accounting and controls - Knowledge of key indicators such as PnL, MtM,is a plus to assist business in reconciling economical and accounting PnL - Good ability to translate business requirements into technical solution with good design & supportability - **Bonus Criteria**: - Prior knowledge of LNG or gas commodity trading is a plus **Soft skills** - A team player and ability to work with global teams effectively - Flexible to adopt and learn unfamiliar technologies (Power Automate, Selenium, Azure related... etc) whenever required - Eager to understand and work on business logics particularly related to pricing - Good troubleshooting skills to find out root cause of issue and provide valuable suggestions to resolve the problem - Ability to
