Mascot Talent

We are looking for individuals who would like to work on a casual basis as our mascot talent for PIP. The mascot talent will be responsible for interacting and entertaining our patrons particularly the children during festivals and events.

Some of the duties include greeting and engaging children and patrons visiting our venues during March On, Octoburst (children's festival) and other events where mascot talent be required. Performing silent gestures and character poses that engage and delight children to provide fun and positive interactions.

**Requirements**:

- 1.6m - 1.8 average build, physically fit
- Love children
- Some customer service or mascot experience is preferred
- Enjoy the arts, excellent interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality

**Specific skills and abilities**
- Able to perform both indoors and outdoors with full costume weighing 8-10kg e.g walking around, playing with the kids, photo-taking, some lively movements
- Work effectively with limited vision in a hot and claustrophobic costume environment
- Able to walk or stand for long period of time
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
