- Key Responsibilities: _
- **Supervision and Coordination**:
Overseeing the work of technicians and mechanics, ensuring tasks are completed according to standards and schedules.
- **Safety and Quality**:
Ensuring all work is performed safely, following established procedures and regulations, and meeting quality standards.
- **Work Planning and Scheduling**:
Developing work plans, assigning tasks, and managing the workflow to meet deadlines and project requirements.
- **Resource Management**:
Managing the availability and allocation of tools, equipment, parts, and manpower.
- **Technical Expertise**:
Providing technical guidance and support to the team, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring proper repair procedures are followed.
- **Record Keeping**:
Maintaining accurate service records, job sheets, and reports related to the work performed.
- **Communication**:
Liaising with other departments, clients, and vendors as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- **Propeller Expertise**:
Specific to the role, this includes overseeing propeller repairs, balancing, and related tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.
- **Dynamic Balancing**:
Managing the process of balancing machinery and components, propellers to ensure optimal performance and minimize vibration.
- **Mechanical Systems**:
Overseeing the maintenance and repair of various mechanical systems on vessels, including engines, pumps, and other critical equipment.
