**Who is the APAC Product Marketing Manager?**
As the APAC Product Marketing Manager, you’ll drive and define the go-to-market strategy for new product and service offerings. You’ll be a key player in the Product and Marketing team, defining and executing product marketing strategies, internally to enable our sales team and externally communicating our value proposition to existing and prospective customers, driving awareness and new product adoption.
You’ll lead your own product marketing portfolio, developing creative messaging, content, and sales enablement tools which support country product launches and grow key accounts’ lifetime value.
This is a new role with an opportunity to join a part of the business that is developing market-leading products and disrupting the traditional status quo of the industry. Product offerings are technology / insurance focused, supporting our enterprise customers in their B2C markets.
**As an APAC Product Marketing Manager, here’s what you can expect to do**:
- Own the development and evolution of the product’s positioning, value proposition, messaging, marketing execution, and localisation within the region.
- Develop go-to-market collaterals and playbooks, crafting propositions for your product portfolio, ensuring clarity, impactful value and competitive differentiation.
- In collaboration with the greater product team, ensure your portfolio of products achieve pipeline targets through innovative and well executed product marketing campaigns.
- Establish partnerships with cross-functional country teams, collaborate and support key country initiatives through shared product and marketing goals.
- Continual market intelligence, benchmarking the country, consumer and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities to optimise our product’s take rates.
- Conduct ongoing research to gain insights into customer’s usage, feature feedback, buyers personas, product pricing and untapped opportunities through interviews, surveys, focus groups, product and sales data.
- In collaboration with product managers, work with external agencies and our virtual content team to create marketing assets that tangible, timely and cost effective.
- Continually explore opportunities to engage with enterprise customers through regular marketing communications, workshops and events.
- Work with the country teams to develop customer success stories and collateral, maximising kudos through various marketing channels that increase our market standing and win rate.
- Work with the US team to identify suitable global marketing initiatives and collaterals, where applicable, localising these to amplify their effectiveness and customer engagement.
**Here’s what you’ll bring to the team**:
- 5-7+ year’s product marketing background in tech, insurtech or consumer tech products.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing or equivalent.
- High degree of product marketing technical expertise and business acumen with a demonstrable track record of delivery amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Ability to craft compelling stories, collateral, and tools around technology products and services for both business and technical buyers.
- Ability to set clear and deliverable goals. Demonstrate strategic thinking combined with tenacity and the commitment to achieve accountable results.
- A strong influencer, effective communicator, with the proven experience of leading Go To Market plans that require input and execution from multiple internal stakeholders.
- Familiar with various qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques to gain deep insights into consumer personas, needs and experiences.
- Ability to dissect complex business issues drawing actionable insights and success metrics from large (and sometimes disparate) amounts of data.
- Experience working with agencies and freelancers to develop sophisticated marketing materials that drive clarity and impact with enterprise customers.
- Strong project management skills, managing complex / cross functional projects with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- An entrepreneurial attitude, the ability to take the initiative, a creative flair while maintaining attention to detail, and comfortable navigating white space.
