Job Description Summary: Interns at PayPal develop innovative solutions and high-quality products that touch millions of people every day. Our engineers solve some of the most complex technical problems in the world of connected payments across multiple business units, (including PayPal, Braintree, Venmo, Paydiant). We are looking for the highest levels of technical talent and programming skills, as well as a keen desire to deeply understand our products and services to push our technology forward with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.

**Job Description**:
Your day-to-day:

- Participate in the creation and refinement of Agile, Story based requirements. Ensure that testing requirements are fully captured in acceptance criteria.
- Design, document, and build test automation so there is broad functional test coverage
- Work with project stakeholders and developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality
- Ensure that all test cases are clearly documented and well-structured to enable swift execution and easy maintenance by other members of the Engineering team

What do you need to bring:

- Bachelor or Master or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
- Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of test automation tools, such as TestNG, Selenium, Robot Framework, JMeter etc
- Experience programming with OO languages (Java, Python) and shell scripting languages (Unix shell scripts, Windows PowerShell).
- Good coding skills and discipline.
- Experience testing SQL database code and validating large datasets
