Take on an exciting role as **Director of Product** and be part of a global team of product managers, UX specialists and UI designers.

You will be part of the driving force behind building Ascenda’s next generation technology across payments, digital banking & rewards. Make a global impact in a high-growth technology company where innovation, speed to market and industry disruption are lived every single day.

You will be instrumental in executing Ascenda’s multi-year product roadmap. With significant responsibility for shaping the company’s overall strategy, you will execute our product vision rapidly together with our in-house engineering teams to deploy world-class financial services propositions at speed.

**Responsibilities**

As **Director of Product** you will:

- Be hand’s on in creating and building Ascenda’s newest product lines.
- Be part of a product team encompassing product managers,
- UX specialists and UI designers as direct reports across multiple levels
- Keep the product vision and roadmap in close collaboration with other functional teams across Marketing, Partnerships, Engineering, etc., informed by end user and enterprise client needs
- Shape and build major new payment, digital banking and rewards propositions which are designed at Ascenda.
- Be a part of the core team evaluating carefully between buy/build / partner for the major solution components
- Guide the team in making the right trade-offs to balance revenue upside, great UX, beautiful design, technical elegance, speed to market, and compliance & regulatory considerations
- Execute rapidly by solving problems, removing obstacles and helping product managers, engineers and designers work effectively together to build great products
- Measure and analyze the performance of Ascenda’s products both financially and in terms of user satisfaction, to drive a rapid and continuous innovation agenda
- Provide strong people leadership and coaching to your cross-functional team
- Understand markets, industry landscapes, and user needs in depth

**What you bring to the table**:
You are an entrepreneurial generalist with product management experience in the fintech domain. You are curious, you love making things happen and are excited by the opportunity to have a big impact in the financial services industry globally.

You have experience in distilling business goals into concrete product visions. You are adept at solving ambiguous problems, strong in coaching team members, and ambitious in executing with urgency.

**What we are looking for**:

- 10+ years experience in technology-centric roles, of which a majority in product management
- 5+ years experience in financial services and/or fintech
- Demonstrated ability to guide and work with product managers, designers and engineers to collaborate effectively together to build great products
- Disciplined execution and project management skills to ensure a fast pace of product delivery
- Strong analytical skills to make fast, well-grounded decisions
- A leader and team player that can engage and drive consensus towards the best outcomes
- A growth mindset, sense of urgency and strong appetite to drive global impact
- Experience in launching new products from scratch in a high-growth technology company environment
