Research Engineer

Develop and evaluate reliable condition monitoring concepts for electric machines for predictive maintenance
- Conduct a detailed analysis on aging processes and fault mechanisms in electric machines with focus on winding isolation and bearings
- Develop, design, and implement measuring systems for fault prediction select appropriate sensor concepts and evaluate them on test benches
- Deviate methods for ageing modeling, fault detection and fault classification algorithms
**Job Requirements**:
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering
- Experience in commercial solutions development i.e. from concept to final product
- Good understanding on power electronics converters, motor drives and control methodologies (algorithms, modelling & simulation, HIL testing, MATLAB scripting, model based design) is advantageous
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in embedded hardware design with microcontroller, DSP and FPGA is a must
- Advanced experience in digital and analog electronics design is required including knowledge on system ADC, DAC and interface design
- In general, deep interest in Electronics is required
- Familiarity with user interface development using C# and/or LabVIEW is useful
