We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Global Head of FX and Derivatives Platforms and Product Management.**

**Role Purpose**

As Global Head of FX and Derivatives Platforms and Product Management, oversee and lead the provision of a world-class digitally empowered FX and Derivatives product management and platforms across all client segments, supporting client needs both locally, and where appropriate providing a unique internationally connected offering.

Role holder will be responsible for the end to end oversight and development of the FX and Derivatives markets product and platform offering to clients across GPB&W, Premier and Personal Banking segments globally. The role holder will also be the Business Outcome Lead for all FX and derivatives trading and order management platforms and related initiatives.

The individual will be responsible for supporting the growth of the revenues on FX and Derivatives products across GPB&W, Premier and Personal Banking. Also responsible for the overall product development and product governance of the respective products, including the initiation and sponsorship of new products, product reviews and post-implementation reviews.

**Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas**

Impact on the Business / Function

Product Governance
- Responsible for driving implementation of all regulatory requirements impacting the products business in collaboration with the COO, Compliance and other control functions;
- MAS guideline on fair dealing outcomes for clients
- PRIIPS guidelines on in-scope products offered to EEA clients
- MAR, GDPR and other regs
- Oversight of PnL losses arising out of operational issues i.e. due to erroneous trade booking / execution, missed fixings or any erroneous settlement on client deals
- Guidance on policy and procedure for ‘Direct Access client business’ (DACS) guidelines in terms of;
- Client On-Boarding Criteria (AUM and Net Worth thresholds that qualify for this service)
- Post trade procedures to be done by product sales vs ops
- Definition of processes for product offering to ‘External Asset Manager’ (EAM) clients

Risk Management:

- Collaborating with market risk to have relevant limits defined as per the appetite of the business across client segments
- Business lead and representative for all modeling issues impacting margining and collateral requirements with clients in consultation with the Models team.

This includes decision on margining methodology to be applied
- Netting criteria on margined deals, collateral requirements and tiering of top-up / sell down criteria based on client sophistication
- Ensure RWA minimization of the business and embed a culture of a more efficient utilization of the bank’s capital asset class base
- Periodic review and active feedback on credit risk policy and procedures in consultation with Credit Risk team and procedures on:

- Client limit setting mechanisms for various classes of clients (automated for retail vs more manual process for private banking clients)
- Margin Top-Up, sell down and margin cut levels
- Documentation requirements with clients based on client type and sophistication
- Margin requirements by underlying and by product to keep the product business competitive yet well controlled

Franchise Building:

- Ensure consistency of workflows and processes across regions and geographies
- Build a rollout strategy which makes deployment and launch of capabilities across regions more industrial, SOP based, consistent and hence quick, easy and cheaper to manage.
- Identify regions where product revenue is weak and inculcate best practices from other regions to re-launch the client-product value proposition
